Warm Goodbyes and Warm Welcomes
Please join me in both saying goodbye to and welcoming new staff for the upcoming school year.
Our School Psychologist, Mrs. Doherty, will be retiring at the end of this school year, and we have appreciated all she has contributed over the years to our Washington community.
We are so glad to have had Ms. Lindenmuth as a Wildcat this year and we wish her the best with her future endeavors.
Mrs. Horn will be returning for the upcoming school year and we look forward to having her back at Washington.
We will be welcoming Mrs. Beth Meunier to our Washington team from Owyhee Elementary. Mrs. Meunier has years of experience as both an upper grades teacher and as a Learning Coach. We are looking forward to having her as a Wildcat next year!

Student Information Form
Classroom placement at Washington Elementary is a team effort involving the classroom teacher, teacher specialists, counselor, and principal. We put considerable time and effort into developing classroom groupings that balance the needs of individual students with the needs of all students. Many factors are carefully considered in the decision process. We welcome input from parent/guardians on your child’s learning style, needs, and the learning environment they find most successful. Below is an optional STUDENT INFORMATION FORM. This is for current families of Kindergarten - 5th graders. Please complete one form per child.
Please submit the form no later than Monday, April 29, 2024 so it can be included in our team class placement meetings.

*Community Events*
In collaboration with Boise Parks and Recreation Department and the Boise School District, Roosevelt Elementary is still offering open gyms to our community. Open gyms are on most Saturday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am from April - June. This is a great opportunity to have some extra activity, play, compete, and have fun. Bring a crew of your friends! These open gym events are available to all (boys and girls) 3rd-6th graders.
